Recent Amendments To PFS Order, 1989

MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE

New Delhi, the 22^nd October, 1999

No. 8-97/91-PP.I - In partial modification of Government of India, in the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation Notification No. 8-97/91-PP.I dated 26^th November, 1993 and 25^th November, 1997, it is hereby notified for general information that the following changes have taken place in the designation and Office of the Phytosanitary Certificate issuing authorities in the Government of Maharashtra who are authorized to inspect, fumigate or disinfect and issue Phytosanitary Certificate in respect of exportable Plants/Plant Materials.

2. In the Notification No. 8-97/91-PP.I dated 26.11.93 below II States/Union Territories and Maharashtra:-

(i) For the figures and the words (i) Agriculture Officer in the Plant Protection Wing of the Directorate of Agriculture, Pune (Maharashtra) (Code No. S (MAH)), the following words and figures shall be substituted (i) Agriculture Officer (PP) in the Plant Protection Wing of the Commissionerate of Agriculture, Pune (Maharashtra) (Code No. S (MAH 1).

(ii) For the figure and words (ii) Agriculture Officer, Office of the Principal Agriculture Officer, Department of Agriculture, District Nasik (Code No. S (MAH2) the following words and figures shall be substituted (ii) Agriculture Officer, Office of the District Superintendent, Agriculture Officer District Nasik (Code No. S(MAH 2).

(iii) For the figure and words (iii) Agriculture Officer, Office of the Principal Officer, Department of Agriculture, District Solapur, ((Code No. S(MAH 3) the following words and figures shall be substituted (iii) Agriculture Officer, Office of the District Superintendent Agriculture Officer, District Solapur, (Code No. S(AH 3).

(iv) For the figure and words (iv) Agriculture Officer, Office of the Principal Agricultural Officer, Department of Agriculture, District Sangli (Code No. S(MAH 4)the following words and figures shall be substituted (iv) Agriculture Officer, Office of the District Superintendent Agriculture Officer, District Sangli(Code No. S(MA 4).

(v) For the figure and words (V) Horticulture Plant Protection Officer, Directorate of Horticulture, Pune, Maharashtra (Code No. S(MAH 5), the following words and figures shall be substituted (v) Deputy Director of Agriculture, Office of the Director of Horticulture, Shivajinagar, Pune-5(Code No. S(MAH 5).

(vi) For the figure and words (vi) Deputy Director of Horticulture, Department of Horticulture, Nasik (Code No. SMAH 6) te following words and figures shall be substituted (vi) Deputy Director of Agriculture, Office of the District Superintendent Agriculture Officer, District Nasik (Code No. S(MAH 6).

(vii) For the figure and words (vii) Deputy Director of Horticulture, Department of Horticulture, sangli (Code No. S(MAH 7) the following words and figures shall be substituted (vii) Deputy Director of Agriculture, Office of the District Superintendent Agriculture Officer, District Solapur (Code No. S(MAH 7).

(viii) For the figure and words (viii) Deputy Director of Horticulture, Department of Horticulture, Sangli (Code No. S(MAH 8) the following words and figures shall be substituted (viii) Deputy Director of Agriculture Office of the District Superintendent Agriculture Officer, District Sangli (Code No. S(MAH 8).



3. In the Notification No. 8-97/91-PP.I dated 25.11.97:-

(i) For the figures and words (ix) Deputy Director of Horticulture, Department of Horticulture Amravati (Code No. S(MAH 10) the following words and figures shall be substituted (ix) Deputy Director of Agriculture Office of the District Superintendent Agriculture Officer, District Ratnagiri(Code No. S(MAH 9).

(ii) For the figure and words (x) Deputy Director of Horticulture, Ratnagiri (Code No. S(MAH 11) the following words and figures shall be substituted (x) Deputy Director of Agriculture, Office of the District superintendent Agriculture Officer, District Ratnagiri(Code No. S(MAH 10).

(iii) For the figure and words (xi) Deputy Director of Horticulture, Department of Horticulture, Sindhudurg (Code No. S(MAH 12)the following words and figures shall be substituted (xi) Deputy Director of Agriculture, Office of District superintendent Agriculture Officer, District Sindhudurg (Code No. S(MAH 11)
